Aimee over at Artsyville is at it again...and we are "listing" into the new year.
First Topic: What's New!
1) I can no longer upload a photo directly with my little insert image tool, instead I have to insert every photo I may use into a separate Picasa file and upload it from there. It's broke.
2) It snowed...and it has been cold since and during the holidays.
3) I was given some of those teeny I-Pod speakers for the holidays and life will never be the same. I love listening to Internet radio stations from all over the world. So far Birdsong radio (from the UK) is my bird's fave. I love The Paris Cafe, though I have no idea what they are saying...I don't really care, I just imagine myself someplace sunlit, and french.
4)A former bead nut, over the holidays I revisited a long forgotten project and...gasp...finished it!
5) For 2013 I started a photo-a-day project through Flickr. I got this idea from friends who do this every year (especially friend Jes Lee, who takes great photos!) and I'm finding it to be fun, and challenging. If you are on Flickr, stop by and add me to your contacts. I'm MNWRITERGIRRL

I love the idea of listening to a French radio station. How cool. (Those iPod speakers are the best, right?)
BTW, I have to say, the journal pages you have posted over on the left of your page are stunners. Glad you ahve that doing that. (It may not be new, but I'm really noticing it tonight. :)
I do wish I could pick up internet or satellite radio in my car. Local stations -- no comment. Not a thing new in my world except I have to remember that it is 2013 not 2012. Oh, to be in England or France...

Maery, I've already written 2012 many times at work. I also wish I could get done of these new radio stations I've found online, in my car. Not possible.I will have to be happy with what I have.

EVERYONE is talking about issues with blogger photos... I wonder what's going on.
I like the photo a day thing.. I love taking pictures and using them in my artwork..that's great inspiration :)
