When you're done with your Vision Board you put it someplace in your house where you see it, possibly first thing,...every day.
What works best for me is layering. I've used a large piece of foam core for the base. For the initial layer, I used colors in magazines that I was most attracted to...and built up, layer by layer...each layer building more focus and attention to detail...even using some of my own photos.
For the final layer I got out the watercolor crayons for some shading and details...lining the letters of my word, Renewal, to make it stand out more than the other words on the board.
I have sometimes ended up completely covering what I have initially put down on the board...and have found that the unseen bits of paper and glue are just as important as what projects forward...making itself known.
This is a process. Like walking through a new door, you do not always know what is on the other side...even if you try to plan it.
Revealing...most definitely.

Ah yes, Get More Sleep resonates with me!
Doesn't it Maery! I think it is our age that sleep has become a...dream, for so many reasons.

Hi Lynn, I'm glad I found your blog!
Just wanted to say I love your boards. I recently came across this idea, (sort of new to me) of vision boards and also someone whose e-book I bought that did a vision book/journal instead of a board. Yours has inspired me to do a big board. It just seems so important to have these visual things put down, so we can see them, feel them, be more real. Awesome!

What a cool approach to doing a vision board.
I love it!
I have been wanting to create one, but haven't done so yet. I hopefully will get to it, soon.
Cheers,
Briana
